THE WIZARD OF OZ

A local amateur production from the team that brought Fame and Peter Pan to Windsor.

After a tornado whisks away a young Kansas farm girl, Dorothy, to the magical land of OZ, she starts her quest to find the mighty Wizard of Oz who has the power to send her home. Along the way she meets a Scarecrow, a Tin Woodsman and a Cowardly Lion who help her on her journey.

Featuring many of the songs from the famous MGM musical, ‘Over the Rainbow’, ‘Follow the Yellow Brick Road’ and ‘Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead’.

 

AUDITION INFO

Theatre Royal Windsor
Sun 10 June 2018
2pm - 3.30pm (8 - 12 year olds)
3.30pm - 5pm (13 - 21 year olds)

 A show fee is payable by all successful applicants. 

The audition takes between 20-30 minutes and you will be taught a short excerpt from a song, a short movement routine and maybe asked to read from the script. You do not need to book a time slot, just arrive anytime during the audition. You do not need to prepare anything. You do need to wear comfortable clothing.
