FIDDLER ON THE ROOF - Theatre Royal Windsor

What's On

Winner of nine Tony Awards when it debuted in 1964, Fiddler on the Roof  is the heart-warming family favourite.

This superb amateur production centres on Tevye, a poor milkman, and his daughters, in the tradition steeped town of Anatevka. With the help of a vibrant and close Jewish community, Tevye tries to protect his daughters and teach them traditional values in the face of changing social customs and the anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. Rich in historical and ethnic detail, Fiddler on the Roof's tackles themes of race, class, nationality and religion, leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness.

Featuring the iconic hits,  'Sunrise, Sunset', 'If I Were a Rich Man' and 'Matchmaker, Matchmaker', Fiddler on the Roof is a great combination of humour and heart.
