MY PURE LAND

Britain’s selection for Oscar Foreign Language Film submission comes to Theatre Royal Windsor.

Following its premiere at the 2017 Edinburgh International Film Festival, Bill Kenwright presents Sarmad Masud’s ground breaking debut film MY PURE LAND at the Theatre Royal Windsor.

A gripping, western-style thriller, shot guerrilla style in Pakistan, the film is based on the remarkable true story of a mother and two daughters who survived a siege on their rural home, picking up guns to fight off a militia of 200 bandits. The women do all they can to survive and with their supply of bullets dwindling they still refuse to give in.
